Fuel Services

The only fueling station in the Galapagos archipelago is located on Baltra Island, specifically in Aeolian Bay. Its GPS coordinates are 0°26'10.8″S, 90°17'07.0″W. This station is operated by PETROECUADOR, Ecuador's state-owned fuel company.

In order for a vessel to refuel at this station, GALA-GEORGE must first register the yacht in PETROECUADOR's system through a process called “Fuel Code Authorization,” which can take up to three working days to issue.

Deliveries are available every day of the week. It is essential that vessels request the exact amount of fuel they require, as it is not possible to purchase additional fuel on the spot or to leave previously requested fuel uncollected.

The fueling dock is 80 meters long and 10 meters deep at high tide.
